People are calling for
rapper Kanye West to get into the White House after Donald Trump was elected
President of the United States.
At the MTV Video Music
Awards last year, Ye hinted that he might have a crack at running for president in 2020.
After he was presented
with a lifetime achievement award, the rapper said: ‘And yes, as you probably
could’ve guessed in this moment, I’ve decided in 2020 to run for president.’
He also admitted that he
might have ‘smoked some’ before he came out on stage, but we all heard it and
now his fans are holding him to it.
Following the result on
Tuesday morning, people took to Twitter to throw their support behind Yeezy’s
campaign (if it goes ahead).
And some felt he could be in with a shot given that Trump used to host reality TV show The Apprentice US.
