Margaret, the wife of the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele, has been rescued from kidnappers.
The Inspector General of Police’s Special Intelligence Monitoring Team, headed by Abba Kyari, was mandated to carry out the rescue.
She was abducted alongside her driver and two other women.
The Eagle Online reports that a combined security team rescued her at about 12:30am on Saturday (today).
Margaret has since been moved to Asaba, the Delta State capital.
The hoodlums intercepted the SUV she was in and shot at an orderly who attempted to stop the abduction.
