APC Is A Party Of Sadists – PDP

The Ekiti State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party has described as sadist mentality the All progressives Congress attack on the governor of Osun State, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola for visiting Ekiti State as guest speaker at an open forum that rounded up 20th year creation of the State celebrations.
The party noted that though APC had never hidden from the fact that it doesn’t want anything good for Ekiti State, it would have avided from exposing itself as party of sadists that will not even rejoice over the progress of Ekiti State for the past 20 years .
In a statement by the State publicity secretary of PDP, Mr Jackson Adebayo, by the attack on Aregbesola for being part of the celebration of 20 years steady development of Ekiti State and recognising the landmark achievements of Governor Ayo Fayose, the APC has once again displayed its hatred for the people of the State as well as expressing sadness at the rapid transformation of the State by the present government .

PDP said it is very unfortunate that the party that claims to be progressives would not see any reason to rejoice with the people of Ekiti State but went ahead to attack a governor who is a member of their party just because he came to celebrate with the people and extolled Governor Fayose for his reliability and giant stride since assuming the leadership of the State.


“We want to say with all emphasis that APC in Ekiti State are generally peopled by wicked egocentric and dangerous beings that would not mind if the state burn to ashes as far as their myopic political desires are not met. In actual sense they don’t want development of any kind in Ekiti State rather they would want a state where people would be slaved in retrogression. ”
Adebayo maintained that APC cannot deny the commendation by the governor of Osun State on Fayose, hence they went for the head of Aregbesola instead of celebrating Ekiti State at20 with some level of progressive mind . PDP stressed that what jolted the opposition party in Ekiti most was the assertion by Aregbesola that Ekiti State has been transformed by governor Fayose , that when he flew in, he could see that the state has been tremendously transformed from what he saw when he came during the past administration.

According to the party, APC is better expected to come out and join Aregbesola in commending Fayose-led administration for doing what the former governor from their party, Dr Kayode Fayemi has allegedly failed to do. The party said it will continue to support the governor of Osun State for the courage and benevolence to have graced Ekiti at 20, and ignoring the sentiment of politics.
