Neymar Tells Critics to 'Go to Hell' as Brazil are Knocked Out

Brazil v Ecuador: Group B - Copa America Centenario
A controversial goal late on in the second-half of the final Copa America Group B fixture between Peru and Brazil has confirmed Brazil's exit from the tournament.
Marca reports that Neymar has taken to Instagram to defend his team-mates after a poor showing in the tournament that saw them draw with Ecuador also.

He said, "No one knows what we have gone through to be there and defend the Selecao. To wear the national team shirt is an honour and you have all done that with love. Now a whole lot of people are going to start talking s---, they can go to hell. Football is like this. I am Brazilian and I will go to the end with you."Had the Peruvian goal been rightly disallowed, Brazil would have qualified top of the group on goal difference. This is a major upset nonetheless, as Brazil were expected to qualify the group, even without the Barcelona star Neymar.
Brazil's manager, Dunga, told ESPN that, "Everyone saw what happened today. There's nothing to do. If you do not have images, all work can be [thrown] off. We cannot change what everyone saw. The imponderable, there's nothing we can do."
"It was a very disputed game. We dominated the first half, while in the second half, at the end, what happened is independent of the coach and the players. ... My question is, despite all the technology, we still make mistakes. The refs consulted. They were talking to somewhere else when they should be talking to each other. I don't understand why they had to be on the headset to consult. This is very strange."
