In Ejigbo area of the state, most filling stations were locked except a popular filling station, which was selling at N130 per litre. Similarly, in Ikotun, major fuel stations were not selling except black marketers, who were seen selling fuel along the road in cans. When this reporter approached the seller, he said a litre was N270, however, after much pleas, he agreed to sell at N250.
A trip to Iyana Iba also showed that most passengers were stranded due to scarcity of bus. Along the every-busy Iba-Lasu expressway, only two filling stations were selling with long queue. Findings show that they were selling at 180 per litre.
In Kiririkiri town, the usual gridlock on the road has vanished as only few cars were spotted.Checks at filling stations in the place show that no filling station was selling except black marketers who were selling a litre between N230 to N260.
